Newcomers Club of Howard County, MD

Meetings are held each month from September through May at various local restaurants or New Hope Lutheran Church.

Before the meeting, all chairmen of committees talk about their activities. After the meal, there is a program topic of general interest.

General Meeting Locations for 2007 - 2008

September: New Hope Lutheran Church Potluck at 6:30

October: New Hope Lutheran Church: Catered Lunch and Handwriting Analysis

November: This month's meeting will be held at 11:30 AM on November 15th.  We are going to the new River Hill Sports Grille, 6040 Daybreak Circle, Clarksville.  This is located in

December: Christmas Party

January:  On January 17, 2008 at 11:30 am, our General Meeting and luncheon will be held at the Olive Garden in Restaurant Park in Columbia, Rt. 108 & 175.

February: Lunch will be catered Chinese buffet. The program will be a Neighbor-To-Neighbor presentation on how to prepare and plan for a disaster or emergency.

March: Please note that the General Meeting this month will be the fourth Thursday in March since we do not meet during Spring Break.  (See by-laws.) 

On March 27th, at 11:30, we will meet at Cacao Lane, 8066 Main St., in Ellicott City.  After lunch and a talk by Athena Dalrymple on "using your computer", we can stroll down Main St. in old Ellicott City and visit the interesting shops.

April: BINGO fundraiser at New Hope Lutheran Church

The event costs $15 per person for 3 bingo cards.  Each additional card is only $1.

It will be lots of laughs, and you may even win a terrific prize.  Our club depends on each one to make it work so mark your calendar now for April 17^th.
