Carrie will be collecting your membership form and dues.  Please remember to fill out your form completely because we need all your information by Oct. 16.    Don’t forget ~ you can save $5 on your yearly dues ($15 instead of $20) by choosing to have your newsletter emailed to you.  You can save money for yourself, the club and also help to reduce paper waste. Just be sure to check the box that says $15 (emailed newsletter)!

$20 This fee is used for the printing of the monthly newsletter, postage and the cost of running the organization. In the event that we have any extra money at the end of the year, we donate to different non-profit organizations.

Additional Information:

Newcomers is strickly a social organization. We do not sponsor or endorse any business or products. The main purpose of the club is to assimilate new women into the community. The club starts its year in September and goes to the end of May. Newcomers activities are for adult members only.

History:

The Newcomers Club of Howard County was started in the Spring of 1964. Thirteen newcomers to the County formed the club. Since they were all newcomers to Howard County, they chose the name "Newcomers Club of Howard County". However, this club is not a part of the National Organization. A charter was adopted which is still in use today. From these humble beginnings, Newcomers has grown to a membership of over 100!!
