Dear Newcomers,

Our April General Meeting was the club's 46th Birthday.  We had a great Pot luck!  As usual the food was excellent. I want to thank Linda, Martha and Kaethe and all the board members who helped set up and clean up. Shantha taught us "Quick Start Tennis". I think everyone had a fun time while getting some exercise.

I am writing this prior to our Yard Sale fundraiser.  I hope it went well.  If you were unable to help, donate or buy please consider a donation to our charities: Grassroots, Domestic Violence and/or Neighbor Ride.

This will be my last letter as President.  I have enjoyed my two years serving the Club. The new officers will be installed at our May Meeting. lease give them your support.

We still need some key chairs especially General Meeting and Programs. Without these important positions being filled it will make it hard to keep the club functioning well.
